Inpatient Cover Benefits:

The policy provides comprehensive hospitalisation and flexibility in the choice of hospital subject topre-approval of the service providers. The cover benefits include:

• Treatment of chronic and pre-existing conditions, cancer, & HIV/AIDS including cost of ARVs
• Radiotherapy and chemotherapy
• Pathology, x-ray, ultrasound, ECG, computerised tomography and MRI scans
• Hospital accommodation charges
• Doctor’s (physician, surgeon & anaesthesiologist) fees
• ICU/HDU and theatre charges

Standard Provider Panel Hospitals & Medical Facilities

• Drugs/medicines, dressings and internal surgical appliances
• Inpatient physiotherapy
• Ambulance services (if patient is subsequently admitted)
• Emergency road and air evacuation subject to overall cover limit relating to inpatient or
  day-care treatment only
• Day care surgery
• Home nursing care for critical illness
• Disease management program with specified providers/specialist
• Overseas treatment in South Africa on reimbursement and on credit to India only with
  accredited providers. Air ticket for patient and accompanying person or guardian
• COVID-19 and related critical ailments requiring hospitalisation

Cover Options

Eligibility

• 60 to 85 years are eligible for enrolment
• Maximum joining age is 85 years

Special Conditions

• If treatment is not available in Kenya, the patient is free to seek treatment outside Kenya within the accredited providers and payment will be made up to the policy limit. Jubilee Health Insurance will also arrange for treatment in India and pay the hospital directly up to the maximum applicable limit. Cover will cater for an air ticket on Economy Class for patient and one accompanying person or guardian.
• If treatment is available in Kenya but patient prefers to go outside the country, the patient should inform KCB Insurance Agency or the Jubilee Health and the claim will be reimbursed at the same rates that would apply in Kenya or at a rate agreed with the Jubilee Health but up to the maximum applicable limits. The policy will however not pay for the air fares, accommodation outside the hospital and for the accompanying family.
